To the adults, the town of Derry was just their home town. The children knew what made it different - IT lurked in the storm drains and sewers, taking on the shape of every nightmare; sometimes seizing, tearing, killing. The children grew up and moved away - until they were called back as IT stirred again, reaching up to make their past nightmares a present reality.
